Only what matters
Storage answers.
One glance away.
DiskState turns the few numbers that matter into a quiet, readable view—without pretending it can inspect data iOS does not make available.
-
01
Read your capacity clearly
See total capacity, space used, and current free space in a single, straightforward status view.
-
02
Keep it on the Home Screen
Choose a Small or Medium widget to check the current storage state without opening the app.
-
03
Understand the useful detail
See Apple’s estimate of writable capacity alongside current free space—clearly labeled as a separate, system-dependent value.

Keep the overview in a widget, open the app for the full reading, and let iOS manage widget update timing.
What the numbers mean
Clear data.
Honest limits.
DiskState reads storage-capacity values Apple provides for the current data volume. For an app-by-app or Photos breakdown, iPhone Storage in Settings remains the right place.
- Total
- Current data-volume capacity
- Used
- Capacity currently in use
- Available
- Current free capacity
- Writable estimate
- System estimate for a new write
- Per-app breakdown
- Available in iPhone Storage settings
Private by design
Your storage status
stays on your device.
DiskState reads storage capacity locally. It does not access file contents, photos, contacts, location, or an app-by-app storage history, and it sends no storage values to a developer-operated server. The main app may show advertising; the widget does not load an advertising SDK.
